Above: The restaurant level floor is complete. Crews continue working on the elevator and stairwell tower, as well as the vertical columns and walls. No longer visible below this level are the Garage Level and the Cafe/Bowling Level, both of which are now fully underground. All underground concrete walls have been waterproofed and backfilled on all three sides of the building. Soon, this compacted gravel surface will become the new access point for the site, allowing excavation of the second half of Building A and the area underneath the Arrival Lobby. April 30, 2025.

Above: Crews have completed concrete at the front half of Level Eight (Penthouse C801) at Building C. Plumbing sleeves, PT cables, and structural rebar are nearly complete at the back half of Level Eight. April 30, 2025.

Above: Concrete was recently poured at Level One, the Après-Ski Lounge in Building B. Crews are working on the vertical columns and walls to reach Level Two, the first level of residential units. The visible waterproofing on the concrete wall shown above is the P1 Garage Level. No longer visible are the P2 Garage Level and the Basement Level, both of which are now concealed below grade. April 30, 2025.

Above: Crews have been excavating and shoring at the south end of Building B. This is the location of the ’04 stack of units in Building B. This space was too difficult to excavate during the winter while the construction of PT concrete levels was taking place at Building C. With Building C nearly topped out and no longer battling snowy site conditions, this area is being excavated down to match the P2 Garage Level. This portion of the building will rise quickly and will soon catch up to the construction of the residence levels this summer. April 30, 2025.

Above: An overview drone image of the entire Sommét Blanc site. Thankfully, most of the snow on the hillside and at the construction site has melted and dried. There is still an abundant amount of snow on the Lucky Jack and Bandana ski runs. Building C is now at Level Eight, which is the top level of the building for Penthouse C801. While Buildings A and B don’t appear to be as far along in comparison, they have numerous levels completed below ground. April 30, 2025.
