Below is an update on the construction progress achieved in May 2026 at Sommét Blanc in Empire Pass at Deer Valley® Resort. Milestones include the substantial completion of the steel rooftop framing for the Level Seven Penthouse units in Building B, the construction of Level Five at the east end of Building A, the continuation of utility lines and mechanical systems in Buildings A and B, and the start of interior finishes in Building C.

Above: Building B now fully wrapped with scaffolding so crews can continue work on exterior wallboard, waterproofing, and prep for window delivery and installation. May 31, 2026.

Above: The rooftop steel framing for Building B is now substantially complete. There are many steps and layers to these complex roof systems, and once the roof concrete is poured, framing for these penthouse units can begin. May 31, 2026.
Above: With the scaffolding in place around Building B, crews continue work on exterior wallboard and waterproofing. Window installation is scheduled to begin soon. May 31, 2026.
Above: The temporary shoring deck and vertical rebar columns are in place for Level Five of Building A. Crews have placed all plumbing sleeves and are working on steel rebar in advance of setting the PT-cables. Level Six should begin within a couple of weeks and will be the last level for structural concrete. May 31, 2026.
