Construction has been moving along steadily at Sommét Blanc. For the month of April, crews continued with excavation and shoring for Building C. At the end of April, the shoring wall for Building C is now complete, and the ground is at its final depth. The surface has been prepped, and is ready to install rebar and concrete for the Building C foundation footings and garage floor slab. Excavation has continued at Building B, with the removal of rocks and dirt and drilling for vertical columns for the Building B east shoring wall. At Building A, they have removed the Sales Gallery building and are currently removing the steel and concrete foundation. This will allow for more construction staging area as the crews work on the Building B and Lobby sites. They will soon move to excavation and shoring for Building A. The Sales Gallery building was located approximately where the restaurant will be at the west end of Building A.
